Half-Year Revenue Surpasses 1.5 Trillion, Core Net Profit Rises 102%: “One Geely” Strategy Continues to Release Power
China Economic Network August 14th report (Reporter: Guo Tao) Today, Geely Automobile Holding Group announced its 2025 interim results. Following the deepening of the "Taizhou Declaration" and the continuous implementation of the "One Geely" strategy, Geely Automobile has been continuously pushing internal resource integration and efficient collaboration, with the first half-year revenue setting a new high and core net profit increasing by 102%. Based on the super-expected market performance, Geely Automobile will raise its annual sales target from 2.71 million units to 3 million units.
The results report shows that in the first half of the year, Geely Automobile achieved revenue of 1.503 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27%; it achieved net profit of 92.9 billion yuan, excluding foreign exchange and tax, and core net profit of 66.6 billion yuan, an increase of 102%; total cash flow rose steadily to 588 billion yuan.
In the first half of the year, Geely Automobile's cumulative sales volume reached 1.409 million units, a year-on-year increase of 47%, with a market share exceeding 10% for the first time. Among them, new energy sales volume was 725,000 units, an increase of 126%; export sales volume exceeded 180,000 units, with stable performance.
Since this year, Geely Automobile has launched a wave of popular models in various new energy sub-markets, driving the new energy segment to become its most eye-catching growth driver. In the first half of the year, Geely Automobile's three major brands achieved a total sales volume penetration rate of 51.5%, ranking among the top new energy brands.
Aside from the main market's all-around prosperity, the high-end luxury brand lineup also demonstrated outstanding performance. The Gaojing and Lingke combined half-year results showed a collaborative effect that continued to release power in the high-end luxury market, forming a "dual-wheel drive" structure and becoming the core support for brand value growth. Gaojing's sales volume was 90,740 units in the first half of the year, with cumulative deliveries breaking through the milestone of 500,000 units; its MPV model series, Gaojing 009, won top honors in multiple countries and regions; Lingke's sales volume was 154,137 units in the first half of the year, achieving cumulative deliveries of over 1.5 million units as of July 16th, with a three-year residual value rate of 54.58% and nine models ranking among the top ten in the sub-market.
Geely Automobile emphasized that the continuous breakthroughs in new energy and high-end markets would not have been possible without the comprehensive support of underlying technical strengths. Geely Automobile has always put technology at the core of its driving force, establishing a leading intelligentization and electrification technology system across all dimensions, with AI ecological deployment accelerating.
At the same time, Geely Automobile's overseas markets have been steadily expanding, with global influence continuously rising. In the first half of the year, Geely Automobile's export sales volume exceeded 180,000 units; Geely brand global sales network covered 85 countries and regions, with key markets launching 10 high-value models; Galaxy E5 international version EX5 landed in 26 countries, becoming a globalization star product.
Gaojing and Lingke have also demonstrated outstanding performance in international markets. As of now, Gaojing has set up over 70 stores in more than 40 countries or regions; Lingke has established 7 clubs and 58 dealerships in Europe; Gaojing Technology's global store network exceeds 1,200 units. In the first half of the year, Gaojing won the title of luxury car brand sales champion in Hong Kong, with a pure electric brand sales crown in Kazakhstan; Lingke entered new markets such as the Dominican Republic and Laos, with European local user recognition exceeding 16%, continuously ranking among the top 50 on the "BrandZ China Globalization Brand" list. Currently, Lingke's overseas exports exceed 92,000 units, achieving a crossover from product to value output.
In the ESG field, Geely Automobile has been committed to reducing its carbon footprint throughout the entire life cycle of vehicles, with a reduction of 23.5% as of June 30th compared to 2020, steadily moving towards its goal of 25% reduction by the end of 2025, and striving for carbon neutrality by 2045. This series of results demonstrates Geely Automobile's firm determination and industry-leading position in sustainable development.
In the second half of the year, Geely Automobile will launch a new wave of products, with a total of five new energy models to be released.
