AI medical concept stocks rose sharply, with Ping An Good Doctor rising over 9%. In July 2025, the National Medical Products Administration released a series of measures to optimize the whole life cycle supervision and support the development of high-end medical devices. This includes supporting AI imaging diagnosis, surgical robots, and brain-computer interfaces, among others. The Beijing municipal government's "AI+ Medical Health" action plan proposes building an innovative ecosystem for AI-powered healthcare by 2027.
Oil stocks were active, with China Petroleum increasing by over 2%. On Tuesday, Donald Trump stated that if Moscow does not agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine within the next 10 days, he will impose sanctions on buyers of Russian oil. Automobile stocks plummeted, with Ideal Cars falling over 10%. Recently, Ideal Cars officially released its first all-electric SUV, the Ideal i8. The nationwide unified retail price of the Ideal i8 is ¥32.18 million to ¥36.98 million, and it will begin delivery on August 20th.
Semiconductor stocks led the way, with Huawei Semiconductor down by over 5%. A source revealed on the 29th that NVIDIA has ordered 300,000 units of H20 chips from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to replenish its existing inventory. This comes after media reports indicated that NVIDIA had informed clients that it had limited H20 AI chip inventory and did not plan to restart production.
Nio (300750) fell nearly 7%. Nio will hold a board meeting today to consider and approve the company's interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025, as well as consider recommending dividends.
