Lenovo Partners with Star Dynamics to Launch Intelligent Exhibition Solutions
2025 August 20, Lenovo Group's subsidiary, Lenovo New Vision Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Beijing Star Dynamics Technology Co., Ltd. held a strategic signing ceremony at Lenovo Group's global headquarters in Beijing to jointly launch an intelligent exhibition solution featuring humanoid service robots.
This cooperation aims to develop a comprehensive solution for intelligent exhibitions based on Star Dynamics' humanoid service robot, "Star Q5". The solution combines advanced technologies such as AI and robotics to provide personalized services that redefine the boundaries of high-end exhibition experiences.
Lenovo New Vision Technology has been deeply engaged in exhibition and service hall projects for many years, with its H203 series (AGV mobile) serving as a "virtual guide" robot. The company has also developed various AI-powered robots that can provide services such as lecture demonstrations and customer support. Star Dynamics, on the other hand, has been focusing on developing general-purpose humanoid robots and corresponding technologies.
The Star Q5 robot, developed by Star Dynamics, has already been used in various applications such as smart home solutions and intelligent guide services.
1. Breakthrough Service Boundaries with Advanced Hardware
The Star Q5 robot, as a new-generation humanoid service robot, features an integrated design that provides a sleek and elegant appearance. Its unique "small waist" shape not only makes it look like a human but also breaks the traditional perception of service robots as cold machines.
With its 44 degrees of freedom, the robot can perform various actions such as handshakes, arm movements, and gestures that are smooth and natural, just like a human. Its leg design allows it to squat down easily, making it suitable for tasks such as picking up items or providing customer service.
Moreover, the robot is equipped with a 7-axis bionic arm and an 11-degree-of-freedom "spirit hand" that can hold objects weighing up to 10 kilograms. This enables it to perform tasks such as receiving and delivering items, guiding visitors, and providing demonstrations in a highly interactive and engaging manner.
In addition, the robot's compact design allows it to move freely in tight spaces, ensuring safe and high-quality service even in areas with high visitor flow rates.
2. Time-Space Synchronization Engine Drives Real-Time Interaction
Lenovo New Vision Technology's time-space synchronization engine is a key technology that enables real-time interaction between the robot, its gestures, and the exhibition content.
When the robot provides explanations about an exhibit, it can accurately point to the corresponding location on the screen while synchronizing with the content displayed, creating an immersive experience for visitors.
3. Humanized Active Interaction Conveys Technological Service Warmth
The Star Q5 robot can perceive and respond to visitor emotions and needs in real-time, providing personalized services that convey technological service warmth.
4. Full-Scene Intelligent Adaptation Builds Customized Service Experience
This solution enables the robot to adapt to different exhibition scenarios and visitor profiles, providing customized services that meet individual needs and preferences.
In the future, both companies will continue to deepen their research into high-end exhibition intelligent upgrading needs, iteratively improving technologies and services, and expanding coverage of industries, enabling more efficient, personalized, and warm smart services for a wider range of applications.
