Sources indicate that Morgan Stanley is preparing to acquire ice cream manufacturer Froneri for an estimated value of €150 billion (approximately $171.3 billion), including debt. According to insiders, this deal may be signed as early as September. Morgan Stanley's asset management department will become the main investor in a new company established by French private equity firm PAI Partners. Froneri is a joint venture between Nestle and R&R Ice Cream Company, founded in 2016, which merged two companies to operate ice cream businesses across 20 countries in Europe. In 2019, Nestle sold its US ice cream business to Froneri for $40 billion, thereby gaining control over Häagen-Dazs and other Nestle brands.
