Pharmacist Help (09885) Achieves Net Profit of Over 3 Times Last Year's Same Period in Mid-Year, High-Growth Trend Continues
Taiwan Economic Journal APP has learned that on July 31, Pharmacist Help (09885) announced its interim results at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The announcement showed that the company's net profit for this year's first half is expected to be no less than NT$7 billion, which is over 3.2 times last year's same period. The company continued its strong momentum in 2024, focusing on self-branded businesses, supply chain efficiency optimization, and grassroots medical ecological expansion, driving the company's performance to break new ground again.
Public data shows that Pharmacist Help achieved revenue of NT$179.04 billion in 2024, up 5.5% year-on-year; net profit turned positive for the first time at NT$3 billion, and operating cash flow increased by 45% to NT$6.56 billion. In the first half of this year, the company's performance continued to maintain a high-growth trend: from January to April, self-branded business transactions reached NT$7.17 billion, an increase of 108.1% compared to last year; self-branded businesses contributed NT$5.6 billion, an increase of 532.3% year-on-year. Supply chain efficiency continued to lead the industry, with inventory turnover days at 33.4 and cash cycle optimization to negative 31.5 days, highlighting the "fast turnover + cash cow" advantage.
The continuous growth in mid-year performance was due to the company's "upward march" strategy. In the first half of this year, Pharmacist Help accelerated the expansion of self-branded businesses and continuously expanded the product lineup of "Leiyao" and other self-owned brands, further improving the company's supply capacity and operational capabilities, achieving rapid growth in high-margin, high-value-added businesses. Among them, the strategic single product Liu Huang Qing Qi Oral Liquid reached a peak daily sales of over NT$500 million in the first half of this year, with average daily sales exceeding 1,000 boxes in cities such as Jinan and Weifang, demonstrating the self-owned brand's ability to penetrate multiple lines of business; at the third-tier terminal sales accounted for 41.2%, an increase of 6.2 percentage points from last year, and grassroots medical coverage achieved a breakthrough; approximately 40,000 new customers were added, with consumer stickiness continuously strengthened.
Several institutions' views indicate that Pharmacist Help has entered the phase of accelerated profit release. Among them, Shinhan Securities predicts that the company's net profit attributable to shareholders for 2025 will reach NT$1.49 billion, a growth rate of 395% year-on-year; and for 2026, it is expected to increase by 116% to NT$3.2 billion. According to industry estimates, China's outpatient pharmacy digital flow market size is expected to reach NT$358.3 billion in 2027, while Pharmacist Help has already covered 98.9% of counties and 91.2% of townships nationwide, with a significant advantage in its down-sinking market network.
Industry insiders point out that in the background of the overall pressure on the pharmaceutical distribution market in 2025, Pharmacist Help's "platform + self-employment" dual-wheel driving model and unique cash cycle capabilities still enabled it to surge ahead against the trend. With the mid-year performance expected to continue growing, the market may reassess its digital ecosystem value. According to sources, the company's official financial report will be released by the end of August at the latest, with a favorable outlook and already entering the value realization stage.
