From August 1st to 4th, the 22nd ChinaJoy took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Our on-site investigation found that the Sony booth in the N1 pavilion showcased a variety of domestic 3A games, including 《Sword of the Shadow》, 《Black Myth: Wukong》, and 《Lost Soul》. Among them, 《Sword of the Shadow》 drew significant attention, with many players waiting in line to try it out.
According to reports, due to time constraints for trying out the game, only a few boss levels and part of the map were open to players this time. From a gameplay perspective, the game's combat mechanics took inspiration from various traditional martial arts styles' high-speed ACTs, strike sensations, camera operations, and handfeel adjustments to make it even smoother.
《Sword of the Shadow》 is an action-adventure RPG developed and published by Beijing Lingshoufang, built on Unreal Engine 5. Prior to this, 《Sword of the Shadow》 had already opened several rounds of game versions for trial play.
